Anonymous asked: seems alot of people have different definitions when it comes to vegetarian and vegan where do you stand? what were your reasons for becoming vegan? what was the hardest part for you to go vegan? what kind of health benefits and/or pitfalls have you come across? sorry for the 20 questions. just curious.
being vegetarian to me is not eating any animal meat, including seafood, and poultry. no one can ever be completely, 100% vegan, but they can do the best they can. i was a vegetarian for about 7 years prior to becoming vegan. (it’s kind of a more recent thing). a boyfriend i had in highschool decided he wanted to become a vegetarian. so, i guess i was kinda convinced to do so too, through peta videos and other info. i stuck with it, even after we broke up. i didn’t wanna eat any animals anymore! my current boyfriend is vegan. we live together, and i would always be cooking vegan friendly meals for us anyway. i wanted to someday become vegan, and dating him has comfortably eased me into it. it wasn’t and isn’t hard at all! health benefit: it really keeps me from eating so much junk! there’s so much crap food out there that being vegan keeps you from eating and it feels so good! i love preparing my own meals and desserts! it’s nice to know what’s going into my food and into my body. i guess the only real pitfall is that it can get pricey. but it’s worth the extra money! it’s unfortunate that bad food is so cheap, and healthy food isn’t. oh well! sorry if i didn’t completely answer everything. my space bar sucks and is driving me crazy.
